The end of March brought spring, sort of to our house and also brought Karlie and Ashlyn as well. They were on spring break and thought it would be a blast to spend it in Vernal with Uncle Brad and Aunt Abby. Since they had never been to Vernal we attempted to show them all that we could in the short amount of time they were here. Karlie loves horses and so Brad saddled up Autumn and Sheza and let the girls ride for a bit. Karlie rode the most and Ashlyn and Wy played, throwing hay at each other and jumping off the stacks of hay.

Monday we spent a few hours at the park playing and enjoying a bit of fresh air. Tuesday we made a trip to the dinosaur museum which is always a great way to spend an hour or two. We "dug" for dinosaur bones,

Sunday we drove out to Dinosaur Monument for a picnic and a little bit of hiking. The kids played with our dog Brody and loved "exploring". The girls were super excited when they found a cave to explore.
went on a bit of a jungle safari in search of animals from days past,
and posed with the Woolly Mammoth.
The only dinosaur that Karlie and Ashlyn didn't get to see up close and personal was the pink dinosaur at the end of town. They were hoping to get a snap shot of the famous dino and have their picture taken with her as well but we just didn't get it coordinated fast enough. However they both assured me they'd be back to visit and that we'd get that picture eventually.
