Lowe's Build and Grow

I recently learned that Saturdays at Lowe's you can take your kiddo and they can build things. They receive an apron, safety goggles and then after completing the project they receive a certificate and a patch for mom to sew on the apron. There were kids there with patch-covered aprons and I was impressed. I signed Wyatt up for the Lowebot project and figured it would be something to get me and the boys out of the house while Brad was out of town working. As luck would have it though, Brad arrived home just in time to take Wy and build the project together!
We showed up just in time to get one of the last remaining projects and a small spot on the floor and the boys went to work. Wy was more excited about using the small hammer they gave them than reading the instructions. Brad tried reading them except Wy got so enthusiastic that he was putting the stickers on before Brad had the Lowebot put together. It was fun to watch them work together and see Wy learn how to use a "real" hammer. Sadly, the stickers were all missing from the Lowebot before we even arrived home that afternoon but we can't complain - it was a fun day.

I've heard those are pretty fun and have been meaning to take Aaden. I just forget till after the fact. Looks like Wy sure had a lot of fun!
