Making Cookies
Last night Wyatt posed a very thought-provoking question: "Wanna make cookies Mom, pleeeaase?" Now how could I resist a plea like that? So he pulled his stool up to the counter and we made cookies. I soon learned that he had ulterior motives as every time I stopped the mixer he told me he needed a bite. He is a little cookie monster!
Camping 101

In preparation for hunting season soon approaching Brad took us to the mountains to scout a campsite. We left Friday night after he got off work and drove up Red Cloud Loop. We drove past Iron Springs Campground which was packed due to bow season and by the time we were headed down toward Dry Fork it was 9:30pm and DARK! We finally found a place and set up the tent in the dark while the boys slept in the truck. I think we got the boys in bed and settled down around 11:00 that night. We all must have been tired as we awoke to the sun shining in our tent at about 8:30 Saturday morning. Even Conner slept most of the night.
Saturday Brad took Sheza out for a ride and Wy, Conner and I played back at the camp. When Brad returned he and Wy headed out for a good ride and I relaxed in the sun with a book I'd been putting off for awhile. Then we had a great dinner of hot dogs and roasted marshmallows and played a game of Frisbee. Sunday after breakfast we cleaned up and returned home. We had a great time!

What a great big brother
Wyatt loves to read and has decided that his new audience will be his baby brother Conner. Currently Wy's favorite book is Curious George and he sat down the other day while Conner was sleeping to read him a story. He must really pay attention during story time as he read for a bit then showed Conner the picture on the page then read some more. What a great brother he is!

Sleeping Boys
Monday Wyatt's friend Ross came to play while his parents packed for their big move. After playing for a few hours they both climbed up on the couch to watch cartoons. All of a sudden it was really quite and I walked over to find two sleeping boys on the couch and one sleeping baby in his bouncy chair. Aren't they all just the cutest?
