Wyatt's lates Equine Addition

For Wyatt's birthday his Uncle James, Aunt Heidi and cousins gave him a stick horse. Now this isn't just any ordinary stick horse, this horse gallops and whinnies when you press his ear. He also turns into a fishing pole, a stick to his his baby brother over the head with, a golf club and something for mom to trip over while doing her "sweaty exercises" as Wyatt calls them. Wyatt loves this horse so much that three times we've caught him sleeping with it although we're pretty sure it can't be all that comfortable. The horse does have a name and depending on the day it could be: Gorgeous, Alvin, Horse, Stripes (his new favorite movie is Racing Stripes), or whatever new thing that has caught his attention.

One day I was unpacking boxes in the kitchen and Wyatt decided that he would race his horse up and down the hallway from our bedroom to the kitchen. It was quite the wild ride and he did get bucked off a time or two. I just had to grab the camera and capture those wild crazy rides.

And then we come to Sunday night a few weeks ago. For those who don't know Sunday night is popcorn night, a very important night in our household. This particular night Wy had horse on the brain and decided that his popcorn bowl was actually a bowl of "oats" just like we feed Autumn and Sheeza and that he needed to eat his "oats" just like they do. He proceeded to do so and got a hearty laugh out of mom and dad, that is until he turned Brad's bowl of popcorn into a bowl of oats too. Then it wasn't as funny.

That is too funny about the bowl of "oats". Addison will only eat bacon when we tell her they are puppy treats. Then and only then, will she eat them on the floor, just like a puppy! These kids make me laugh!
