Cowboy Wyatt

It seems like divine destiny or diving intervention that my first born was born to be a cowboy and now he truly has the gear to fulfill that destiny. For Christmas Grandma Patterson made him a pair of chaps and then for his birthday Grandpa and Grandma Patterson gave him a pair of spurs. He is now officially duded out and ready to ride. My sister took these pictures when we were home for Christmas. It was fun but a bit tricky to get the bbgun away from him when we were finished. Brad eventually wandered over and decided that Wy needed a roping lesson which wasn't as bad as I had anticipated.
Last Saturday Brad was getting ready to go riding with a friend and Wy ran to his room, grabbed his chaps, his hat and his boots & spurs and ran out to tell his dad that he was going riding too. When Brad asked which horse he was riding Wy informed him that Brad would ride Autumn, Wyatt would ride Sheza and Brad's friend had to bring his own horse. They compromised and Wy rode Autumn with Brad.
We love our little cowboy!

So stinkin' cute! I'm sure it makes his daddy sad that his boy wants to follow in his footsteps :)
