Conner 7 months

February was Conner's 7 month milestone. It is amazing how much a baby can change in one month. I know they have to in order to do that thing we call growing up but it just makes me wish that for one day, one hour, one minute I could have that tiny newborn cuddled in my arms.
We bought a high chair for him and just being able to sit up in that while we eat or while I work in the kitchen has made him seem a bit more grown up than before. He now waves hi and goodbye or when he wants to get your attention. He reaches for people he likes which to date is everyone (my boys sure are people persons, so not like their mom!) especially my friend Aubrey-he loves her!
Last Monday I propped him up while I was unpacking boxes (an ongoing event in our home these days) and he toppled over after a few seconds so I propped him up again and he toppled over. We played this game all week and finally by Friday he was sitting up playing with his toys and seeing the world from a new angle. As soon as he figures out how to push himself up he'll be crawling but for now he does this funny swim move with arms and legs just going crazy. Wish I had a picture!
