We have been a busy traveling family the last two weekends. The last weekend of March we packed up spur of the moment and headed south to Blanding, UT, to see Brad's parents. While it wasn't as warm and sunny as we had hoped we did have a relaxing weekend. Wyatt spent his time between Grandpa and the dog - who I think was ecstatic to see the taillights as we drove off on our return trip. The only snag came Sunday when the adults were visiting prior to departure and Brad realized Wy was not in the house. He headed outside and found Wy at the horse corral feeding Blitzin and after returning to the house discovered that Wy had fallen, cut his hand and had a rather large splinter under his pinkie. It took three adults to hold him down and dig the big sliver out and then Grandma came to the rescue with a band aid to soothe the pain. Thank heavens for Grandmas!
This last weekend we traveled to Geneva to visit my parents and attend my grandma's funeral. Wyatt had a blast with all his cousins and I do believe that the earliest he went to bed three nights in a row was about 10:30. What a kid!
We love to visit family but are always so glad to hit the city limits and know that home is not far off.
