A Night at the Movies

Labor day weekend my sisters Mauria and Becca, and my friend Jenn from Boise came to visit us. Wyatt was super excited as he always has so much fun with Aunt Becca. In fact the day before they came he thought every car that drove into our parking lot was Aunt Becca. Needless to say he once again had a fun time and was spoiled with the purchase of a Mickey Mouse toy thanks to Aunt Becca. Thanks Aunt Becca (PS: Conner loves his Pluto too!)
Sunday we loaded up the truck and headed to the drive-in movie to watch GI Joe and Night at the Museum 2 since we could all get in for $12. The first movie was fabulous the second I wouldn't know as I fell asleep. Wy was awake the entire time and loved both movies. Conner slept, ate, and slept some more so his first trip to the movie was a success!
The drive-in movie is on our list of things to do next summer since we only made it there twice this season.
Thanks for coming to visit us you guys. We love spending time with you - even if Jenn sports a Boise State t-shirt and knocks the Vandals!

Growing, Growing, Growing

Wyatt turned six years old this year. I can't believe we have a six year old and that he is Kindergarten! Wyatt has learned to read, write small words, add, take away (please don't call it subtraction as it is NOT the same thing!), trade and barter his toys on the bus (no kidding! Wow were we surprised), and play the piano (he has plans to start a band with a few of his friends). He has his own room much to his great joy and a huge bed to sleep in. He's even okay with sharing the room with the baby as babies just sleep right?

Wyatt has such a strong testimony of the gospel and reminds us to read our scriptures and say family prayers. He sings and currently enthralls us with his selections from Phantom of the Opera. We love him dearly and are so glad to have Super Wy in our family!

All Boy

Conner is three years old. He goes to preschool twice a week and has learned his ABCs, his numbers and counting to 50; he has learned to write his name and some letters of the alphabet. His days just aren't complete if he isn't outside riding his bike or playing in the sandbox. He has to wear cowboy boots just like his dad who he loves more than anyone. In fact he's not just dad he's MY DAD to Conner. He helps entertain Lane and plays with Wyatt. He is very headstrong and independent and we love that about him.
