On Saturday, wouldn't you know it, the sun came out and it was a beautiful day. So with alternative plans we visited the Dinosaur museum and then spent the rest of the day playing and being lazy at the Naples Park. We played Volleyball, Badminton, Croquette; we had a water fight instigated by my niece Lindsay (she was the receiver of a bag of water over the head but really, it was her fault that the whole thing started); we played on the playground equipment and took naps in the shade. Overall it wasn't what we had planned but being together trumps any set plans and we had a ton of fun. Thanks to all who made the journey to Vernal to play!

The Teuscher Family Reunion (we should have built an Ark!)
This year Brad and I were in charge of the Teuscher Family reunion and we thought camping would be a great way to spend three days together as a family. What we didn't count on was the season of rain that would prevail all through the month of June and rain us out of our camp spot. However we are an enterprising family and we did a modified version of camping: three families spent the night in a hotel; one family slept on our living room floor; four kids sacked out on Wy's bedroom floor; my sister took the upstairs bed; and my mom, dad and younger sister slept in the camper parked next to our apartment complex. And that was just Friday! As you can see below we took up a lot of the space in the parking lot.
