Introducing Conner T Patterson

July 16, 2009 at 5:54 pm Conner T Patterson made his appearance. He weighed in at 7 lbs 14 oz and was 19 1/4 inches long. Our day started at 5:00 am when I woke Brad up. He accidentally set his alarm for 5:30 instead of 4:30 so already we were off to a good start. We grabbed the suitcase and headed to the hospital in Roosevelt where they admitted me, got us in a room and began the process to get labor started. I was hoping for a quick labor and delivery like Wyatt's but Conner had different plans. So we watched tv, slept, slept, and waited for the big moment. Finally after 12 hours the planets aligned and we had a healthy baby boy. Grandma Teuscher brought Wyatt down on Friday to meet his new baby brother. He looked at mom's belly trying to find the baby and was a little confused for a minute but that soon left as he sat and held his baby Conner. He got to celebrate being a big brother with ice cream and cake brought in by the nurse. When it was time to leave he gave dad a hug, gave mom a hug and said he needed to take Conner home.
