Lane turned 2 on July 13. He is such a big boy now and loves to be around his older brothers. He thinks he can do anything they can, including ride a bike with only two wheels! I keep thinking he should be my baby still but he has other ideas! He loves his dad so much and becomes Brad's shadow the minute he walks through the door from work. He has even "helped" his dad build the new wood shed out back. He has a wonderful, creative imagination and at any given moment a stick can become a weed eater, a chainsaw or a gun. He really loves tools so we got him a tool set complete with hard hat for his birthday and the boys gave him construction vehicles: dump trucks, backhoe. His cake had two construction workers digging and shoveling "rocks" (cookies) and a cement truck, loader, and dump truck. At age 2 Lane is: 26 lbs and is 33" tall.
Conner turned 4 on July 16. He tried super hard to learn to ride a 2-wheel bike in the spring and just was so nervous but by the time his birthday rolled around he was a cruising maniac on that thing. He has turned into our tender hearted child and is always thinking of others. If he gets a treat he always says but what about Wyatt? Lane? If he gets to go with just his dad he always wants to include the other two as well. He helps with dishes, feeds Toby, plays in the sandbox, loves to build things (is often found pillfering his dad's tools and tape measure) and has such a vivid imagination. For his birthday he had a Dinosaur Dig and invited all his friends to find the dinosaurs living in the dirt hill in the drive way. He too was giving tools from mom and dad so he could have his very own set to help his dad with repairs. At age 4 Conner is: 35 lbs and 39 3/4" tall.
