I know that this day has come and gone but to me every day should be a day to celebrate fathers. They work hard to support their families and take care of every needful thing that they deserve a strong cheering section. Fortunately for me I have three wonderful men in my life who are the greatest fathers. First my dad. I love him for everything he has taught me while growing up and for the things he teaches me now that I'm an adult living far away. His silent examples make me want to make better choices and be a better person. I love you dad. Second Brad's dad Glenn. From the first day I met him he has made me feel welcome and loved as part of the Patterson family. He is compassionate and kind and hardly ever have I seen him lose his temper (although I've heard stories from Brad's youth that claims he has one). I am so blessed to have two such men in my life who are full of wisdom and advice and who no matter the mistakes I make love me and guide me anyway.
Third, Brad. He is the love of my life and through seven years of ups and downs, trials and tribulations, he still loves me and worries about me and wants to be my friend. He works so hard so that I have the opportunity to stay home with our boys. He loves our boys and they get so excited to spend time with him. His seven days off are an eternal vacation for Wyatt and Conner as they follow their dad everywhere helping him fix things or run errands. When he's working they wait impatiently for him to come home so that they can wrestle and play with him. He takes the time to teach Wyatt as he goes about his list of things to do on his days off and Wyatt is learning - slowly - but learning. He has a testimony of the gospel and although work doesn't allow him to attend church every Sunday he makes sure that we read our scriptures and have family prayer together when he's home from work or before he goes to work. He is a wonderful father, husband, and friend and I'm glad that we are a family.
My Dad
My daddy is my favorite pal, and I help him every day. It's plain to see I want to be like him in every way. He teaches me that honesty is best in all I do. I'm very glad that he's my dad, and I know he loves me too.
