The 2009 Senior class from Nampa High was the last junior class I taught so I had to make the voyage to see them walk across the stage and receive their diplomas; I am so very proud of them!
Since our baby is due in 7 weeks I also needed to make a trip to regroup some of my baby items. We didn't expect to have number two so soon after our move so we left baby items in Boise and some in Blanding (that trip is coming up next weekend - hopefully this baby won't come before then). Luckily for me my sister Mauria loves to drive to Boise so she tagged along as my chauffeur and traveling companion. We were able to stay at Kammi's wonderful new home (thank you for such hospitality!) with her family and celebrate Ben's big #5 birthday. We played at the park, swam, and had a great time. We also met up with some friends for dinner to celebrate Kayla's graduation from the University of Idaho (Go Vandals!), spent time with Wy's Aunt Sheri and Ashlyn, caught a late night showing of Mama Mia with Jenn ( can you say sing along?), visited with Brother Peterson, and on our way out of town spent a quality 30 minutes with Ken, Rhonda and Katie who we miss very much!
It was a whirlwind trip and I am definitely tired after all the traveling but am so glad that when I do make the random appearance in Boise that so many of you take time out of your busy schedules to see me. I miss you all so much and want you to know that you have a place to stay anytime you wander this direction and mistakenly end up in Vernal!
